Founder of TRS Restorations
Steven E. Rucinski
June-25-1942 - December-26-2008
TRS Restorations originated in 1976 out of Steve's garage at home, formally known as Steve's Spray. It didn't take long for Steve to build up excellent working relations within the community he served and some of the local general contractors. Some of which were old friends and others we're all considered new friends. As Word of mouth traveled Steve's Spray gained an asset that would change the scope of his business forever.
Steve started doing work for Golden Eagle Log Homes, of Wisconsin Rapids, WI. Steve's Spray now had a working shop at Golden Eagle Log Homes and a new specialty to boast on. Business was doing so well after approximately one year with Golden Eagle Log Homes that Steve needed a bigger working environment.
Steve's Spray moved out to St. Hwy 13 S. into a new shop provided by the "original owners of " (Bob & Marsha Wright) Wright's Cap & Camp. Steve's Spray became Total Restoration Services in the early 1990's. Having kept good relations with HomeOwners in the central Wisconsin area and the loyalty from general contractors like Nelson Construction, Hampton Homes, Schlacter Construction, Doorworks and many other honorable contractors. There are many others who contributed to Total Restoration Services continued success and would play integral roles in it's transition into yet another great era within the living legacy of the business.
Come the Winter of 2002 and through the summer of 2003 Steve and Total Restoration Services sponsored a Golden Eagle Log Home built as the "CABIN TO HELP CANCER". This Home was also featured in 6 issues of Log Home Design Ideas Magazine with Total Restoration Services mentioned as the finishing company which sponsored this home. Total Restoration Services was featured in the 5th and 6th installments of the 2003 Showcase Home.
Over the years Steve had taken painting and staining to just about every possible level and venture without getting into the industrial scene. Steve's personal specialties consisted of woodgraining of steel doors and a full working/technical knowledge and Mastery of painting and Log Home Finishing. Steve was also the head installer of "Speedliner" spray-in bed liners for Wright's Cap & Camp. Total Restoration Services would become "TRS Restorations" in June of 2004, regardless of this transition, Steve kept such high standards of workmanship quality within the business, it's reputation in the area preceded itself and the business would be known as both Total Restoration Services and TRS Restorations. Steve and his business has definately left an exceptional impression within the community. One of Steve's most recent accomplishments was in June 2006 as TRS Restorations became a listed Sikkens P3 Certified Contractor. Having accomplished this, Steve gained the abilities to teach this knowledge to the rest of us to continue on in his footsteps and make sure his legacy would live on. We are Honored and Privelaged to have been taught his mastery and will continue to keep providing the same standards values/morals and qualities to the community that has been integral to the continued success of TRS Restorations. Steve will be missed, but we will continue to remember him with the lasting impressions and knowledge he bestowed upon us which will always remain within ourselves and TRS Restorations regarding the services it provides to it's customers.
